The house is designed to be the permanent home for a family with two children.

The GJ House is on two levels, on the ground floor there is the living area, dining area, kitchen and pantry, a small TV space and a separate office. On the first floor there is the master bedroom with a walk-in-closet and an en-suite bathroom, also there are two big bedrooms for the kids, a bathroom, a small storage and laundry room.

A double height dining area will be the main interior feature characterized with a cantilever wooden staircase. The use of wood, marble and ceramics will create a warm environment for the family and guests to live in.

On the exterior, a wooden façade on the front and a big covered verandah on the back will be the prominent features of the house. The use of plaster, wood and metal will create a strong yet a welcoming feeling.
