Engomi – Griva Digheni Ave.

The café belongs to the world wide franchise of Caffe Nero, and is represented in Cyprus by the PHC Franchised Restaurants Public LTD group which was our official client.

The site is located in Engomi at the old Blinkers building that is considered a landmark for the area.

The firm Studiomk35 - Architects for this project did an overall design proposal, from the marble and wooden bar, the fireplace and the wooden bookcases, the metal and wooden staircase, to the flooring proposals with wood and the external deck.

The decision to leave the structural elements to their cast form, the use of concrete spatula to the walls, the brick tiling on the fireplace wall, as also the visible mechanical and electrical equipment on the ceiling gave an industrial feeling that has merged with the building nicely and created a warm and friendly environment.
